A lot of you have been wondering what has been going on with me lately. The truth is, I had a bit of a scare recently due to a medical condition I’ve known about my whole life, but really had never been a huge problem until now. I have been in treatment for it since the incident, unfortunately I had to miss the Rock on the Range show, and I am truly sorry for not being there. Don’t worry, I’m not leaving the band or anything silly like that! In fact, I’m in the best health now than I have been in years, and I am so looking forward to seeing all your faces this Summer on Warped Tour :)

About Sammi and I, I can assure you all we are not ‘breaking up’ or getting a divorce. Calm yourselves with the rumors! It IS true that we are going through a bit of a rough time at the moment, but this is really nobody’s business but ours. They say that the first year of marriage is the hardest, and the fact that we have to spend that year mostly apart makes it that much more difficult. We are grown up human beings with real feelings. Through distance and insight you find out things about yourself or the other you never realized existed before, and it freaks you out and you have to deal with it and work through it. We are simply each taking some time to reflect and discover what is most important to ourselves and each other. But again this is nobody’s business but our own. I would appreciate it if you all would give us our privacy during this time as we deal with this, stop making assumptions or judgments and probing or attacking me or the woman I love dearly. No one did anything wrong. I assure you everything is going to be okay and back to ‘normal’ soon :)
